This group project, an ad campaign for Il Makiage, was created for the 2019 Young Ones Brief Competition. Il Makiage makeup is a brand targeted to “high maintenance, unapologetic women” that are “equal parts swagger and substance.” With this in mind, the concept was to rewrite the rules of etiquette for modern day maximalist women. My role as photographer was to take, direct and edit the photos for this project. I also did some design work to help the team get a feel for how to best utilize the photos in print.
